Connie Calabrese, Partner                                                                                                   c&n

Hi I am Connie, a working mother of three girls, now 20, 18 and 14. I attended The College of William and Mary, where I met my husband, earning a duel degree in Finance & Information Systems. I spent the majority of my career at Equitable Life, first as a Financial Analyst and ending as Director of Operations. But, it was during my time developing software to determine field agency profitability, that I found my passion for integrating business needs with software development.

After my last daughter was born, I made the difficult decision to stay at home and moved our family to Rhode Island to support my husband’s career. The last fifteen years, I have worked from home, raising our daughters and focusing my energy volunteering and fundraising in the community.

I held positions of PTO President, Treasurer, Enrichment Coordinator, Church and Neighborhood Association Treasurer. I was most proud of developing & promoting a robust elementary school extra-curricular program, a middle school science fair, student government and after-care tutoring services.

As rewarding as these years were, I was frustrated that there were no online resources available to better organize, simplify and save the various and repetitive administrative tasks demanded. I saw an opportunity!  Combining my education, my passion for software development and current experience, I set off to develop an online product to better serve parent volunteer, teacher & community groups.

My family ended up back in New Jersey in 2012, where I met friend and partner Nora Noll. Nora’s background in Sales & Marketing, Sports and Non Profit fundraising complemented mine. We partnered and expanded our product functionality to now become The SignUp Hub.

Nora Noll, Partner

My name is Nora Noll. I am the very proud mother of three daughters – ages 22, 19, and 16.  Prior to having children, I attended Clemson University majoring in Business and went onto have a successful and fulfilling career in the Hotel Restaurant Industry.  Several promotions led me to becoming the Catering Manager for a 4 Star 5 Diamond Hotel Property.

After getting married and having my first child, I put my business career on hold to become a stay home mom.  Over the past 22 years, I have remained very active in my community starting an Education Foundation, being President of the High School Sports Club which oversees 24 sports teams and clubs as well as president of several other organizations.

I have coordinated a wide array of fundraisers, chair several annual events, and created a summer camp for our local recreation department that services 150 children annually.

My passion for running things efficiently and successfully shifted with motherhood but never went away.  My family is my motivation.  I want my daughters to see that when you take pride in everything you do and do it to the best of your ability, you will always be proud of the outcome.

Several years ago I met my friend and partner, Connie Calabrese.  Connie and I share similar visions and we saw the problems within our local and state organizations.  We were in the schools seeing how difficult it was for those handling functions and payments.  Connie already had a platform in the works, it was very natural for us to partner. We have spent the past year creating a system that we are very proud of …The SignUp Hub!
